Think Smallville's Lois rather than the '80s classic features and '90s pout-fest

We've already seen how Henry Cavill shapes up as the titular Man of Steel in the latest stab at the Superman story with a beautiful lady in herve leger swimsuit. But Warner Bros. released an official trailer today
which unveils the salt to his pepper, the yin to his yang... the Lois to his Clark. Step forward Amy Adams; who seems to be playing Lois as a capable, clued up beauty
rather than the glossy reporters portrayed by Margot Kidder and Teri Hatcher (who were bamboozled by a pair of glasses despite their questioning profession).
Scroll down to watch trailer...
Hello, Lois! Amy Adams plays Clark Kent's love interest in the vein of hit series, Smallville, rather than the glossy incarnations of Margaret Kidder and Teri Hatcher
Clued up: From the trailer we ascertain that Amy's Lois is in on Clark's big secret. Think Smallville's Lois rather than the '80s classic features and '90s pout-fest,
Lois and Clark.
Like Smallville, the film explores the childhood Clark Kent experienced to eventually become the DC Comics superhero Superman. The two and a half minute trailer
features new footage from the action film, including the how Kent used his powers as a child growing up in Kansas. The trailer begins with Cavill as Clark Kent,
bearded and shirtless, floating in water.
He's remembering a conversation he had in his childhood with his adoptive mother Martha Kent (played by Diane Lane), he tells her: 'The world is too big, mom.'
Jaw of steel: You could cut cheese with Cavill's jawline, nobody could argue that he doesn't make a convincing Man of Steel. Father and son: Kevin Costner plays
Clark's Earth father, Jonathan, he's afraid that his son will be hounded if he exposes his true identity. Small town boy: Kent's childhood is covered in the movie, too
She replies: 'Then make it smaller.''Focus on my voice. Pretend it's an island out in the ocean. Can you see it?''I see it,' the young Clark responds as grown Kent.
snaps open his eyes on a girl who wear herve leger 2012 dress. Next, Clark remembers an incident in his early youth when his school bus crashed into water, nearly drowning everyone aboard until he saves the
day but risks exposing his provenance.
